Launch of AmpX Germany

AmpX is now up and running in Germany. We stock our full range of energy logging devices in a warehouse in Georgenthal. Orders reach anywhere in the EU within four days. Pricing is in euros, and we support customers in English, German and Afrikaans.
From solar installers to energy logging specialists
The company grew out of a solar design and installation business called Green Energy Solutions. We started it in 2010. To size solar and backup systems accurately, we needed a way to log energy and power consumption. Nothing on the market was affordable, reliable and easy to install all at once. So we researched, imported and tested equipment ourselves. Eventually we found energy logging devices that met all three requirements.
Then we offered those tools to other installers, and the response made the gap obvious. Energy professionals were hitting exactly the same problem we had. That is why we spun off a separate company doing nothing but energy and power measurement. The range runs from portable units to permanently installed meters. More than 500 devices later, in 32 countries, it is still our only focus.
Why Germany?
Germany has been home since 2019, so building out operations here was the natural next step. Holding stock inside the EU also removes what used to slow European orders down. You pay in euros. Your energy logging devices ship from Georgenthal, not across a border.
